This California Privacy Rights Notice (the “California Privacy Notice”) supplements the Permutive Website Privacy Policy (the “Website Privacy Notice”) by describing your privacy rights if you are a California resident. Please note: California law defines “personal information” broadly as information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. This California Notice also uses that definition when we refer to personal information.

We do not sell any of that personal information.

Your rights under california law

Under California law, you have the right to make the following requests:

 

  • Access. Request access to the specific pieces of personal information about you that we have collected in the preceding 12 months.
  • Deletion. Request deletion of the personal information that we have collected about you. We may retain personal information as required or permitted by law, and will maintain a copy of your deletion request.
  • Disclosure. Request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we collect, sell or disclose that information, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information.
  • Opt Out of Sale. Request to Opt Out (“Do Not Sell My Information”) of “selling” your personal information.

How to make a request

If you wish to make a request please send us an e-mail at privacy@permutive.com. Once we receive your request, we will validate the information that you provide and respond accordingly. Please follow the instructions in that email to verify your email address. You can designate someone else to make a request on your behalf. We will contact you to verify your identity before we respond to your authorized agent’s request.

Right to non-discrimination

We do not discriminate against you for requesting any of the rights noted above.

Other california privacy rights

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
